I have been hearing a whooshing sound in my left ear. I am 35 years old, female, and overweight, though not obese. Factors: I had a cold a couple of weeks ago, I had a miscarriage three weeks ago, I take medication for high blood pressure--though my blood pressure seems to be at a good level now. I have TMJ problems. I went to an ENT doctor about a week ago who checked my hearing and my ear drum response. Hearing was normal as was the ear drum -- he said there was no fluid or mass behind my eardrum. Should I see another doctor about this? I've read about the scary things it could be (aneurysm, plaque in artery) and I am worried.
