Suggest Remedy For Throbbing Pain In Head

My daughter, age 12, got hit in the head tonight with a volleyball that had been served overhand by an adult. This was about 4 hours ago. She reports a throbbing feeling, pain at 5 or 6 out of 10. Do I need to call the doc? She is awake, aware, playing on her iPod. Do I give Tylenol? Nothing at all? Put ice on it? Thanks.

Hi
Welcome to Health care magic

I reviewed your history you have provided here. It seems from the history that your daughter is having throbbing pain in the head following a injury to the head.
You need to worry about this and for pain relief you can give tynelol.
But if she develops symptoms like nausea, vomiting, dizziness which indicate concussion head injury you need to consult your doctor for examination and treatment accordingly.

Hope this information is helpful to you.
Do write back to me for further questions.

Thank you
