Suggest Remedy For Soreness In Nose

Hi, I went for closed rhinoplasty last year, and there was a stitch on the inside of my nostril that was sticking out. i think it tore recently, as it has been lightly secreting light yellow pus. the part of my nose between my eyes is now swollen, and whenever i press on this swell, a bit of pus will come out of the opened stitch. will this go away on its own with an ice pack, will the stitch heal on its own, or do i have to consult a doctor again?

Hello,

The symptoms seem to be related to the rhinoplasty. You can try a few home remedies to bring down the swelling. A cold compress can decrease blood flow to the area, which can ease swelling symptoms. Over-the-counter pain medication can also be helpful. If the symptoms continue, you may need antibiotics, so you should consult an ENT specialist.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
