Suggest Remedy For Side Effects

I believe I am having side effects from my blood pressure medication. Currently I am taking 40mg of Lisinopril daily and 12.5mg of Hydrochlorothiazide daily (half of 25mg pill). I was prescribed these medications, because my blood pressure wouldn't stabilize after I gave birth to my daughter 6 months ago.

About 3 months ago I started having some weird symptoms, and they have become increasingly bothersome. The symptoms include: feeling mentally cloudy and confused, dizzy, muscle cramps, numbing/tingling feeling starting in one place of my body and slowing creeping to other parts, nausea, and intense cravings for salty foods and water! Something else I found interesting is that a lot of the symptoms will decrease if I eat something salty!

I began to suspect my blood pressure medications, because I went on a trip for 2 days and forgot to pack my meds. During those 2 days, I did not experience any of the symptoms. When I came home, I starting taking my pills as usual, and the symptoms returned!

I have tried talking to my doctor, but he continues to tell me I am having these symptoms due to other reasons that make no sense! I don't want to get to much into detail, but I will say I am new to the area I live, and I have been extremely disappointed in my doctor! So, I am here hoping I might get suggestions about what is going on or what I should do!
