Suggest Remedy For Severe Dry, Itchy Skin With White Spots On Arms

I have severe dry itchy skin due to eczema also I have these white spots popping up all over my arm as well I'm not sure if it is vitiligo. what can I do about the itchy skin I have tried every concoction known to man but the only thing that I do find relief is in taking baking soda bath epson salt or sea salt.

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have severe dry, itchy skin with white spots on arms . Well the symptoms you mention in query can occur due to may reasons like allergic reaction , side effect , sensitivity to sunlight , eczema , psoriasis and impetigo . There can be possibility of fungal infection also . But in your case the symptoms are due to eczema , I would suggest you to clean the area with mild soap and dry it , apply petroleum jelly , take bendryl twice a day and keep its away from dust and sunlight . Consult dermatologist for proper examination . Docytor may order skin test , blood test and allergy test to rule out other causes . Doctor may prescribe corticosteroid ointment , anti fngal or anti bacterial for secondary infection along with oral steroids .
