Suggest Remedy For Sebaceous Cysts On Labia

Hello, I have many (20+)subaceous cysts on my labia. They have been there for a long time and occasionally become infected and grow very large. They are always painful and uncomfortable. I have been to gynecologists who say I basically need to live with it and my dermatologist has removed a few but it is a painstakingly long process. I cant believe this wouldn t be covered by the excellent insurance I have thru my employer, I just cant seem to find the right type of doctor to go to. Any suggestions? Thank you

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

First of all, it's sad to know what you had been going through lately. Based on the history you have shared, you are having multiple sebaceous cysts which need to be removed followed by good hygiene.

Get your blood test like Complete blood count and blood sugars fasting levels done too to rule out diabetes.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Saddiq Ulabidin, General & Family Physician
