Suggest Remedy For Scars In The Retina

hello,i had a freak accident 3yrs ago, and i hv a scar on the retina layer.. and later due to the injury, there was catract formation in my eye and i had to undergo a catract removal surgery. My docs also implanted a lense in the said eye, but my vision is still very impaired.. do you think there is hope it might actually heal?? And yes i was already using specs (short-sighted) before the accident.

Hello.....Scar formation in retina is not a good sign....it affects the vision a lot and remains there throughout life....it can contract a little bit but it cannot be healed completly...so the problem of poor vision will persist....at present surgery are under trial for such cases but the results are not yet good enough....but we can hope for better inventions in future and also for better surgery results.
