Hi,I am Dr. Subhankar Chakraborty (Gastroenterologist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I am a 57 year old male weighing 145 lbs. I had my last colonoscopy a little over two years ago and it was normal. For the past couple of weeks, my stool has included a few berry size pieces attached to the outside... maroon in color that contrast with the general tan like color. The past two days I have pulled these berry size attachments easily off of the stool. They are soft and when you squeeze them, bright red watery blood comes out. I have had hemmorhoids of late as well. What do you think this could be?
