Suggest Remedy For Post Nasal Drip?

I have post nasal drip problem, in day time it is slightly ok but nights are horrible . My mouth and throat is full of mucus. I have to get up again and again to clear it.I have lots of acidity also . I am taking Nexpro-20 and Lafaxid. My ENT said I have acid reflex. Pls suggest

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain the symptoms of post nasal drip and excessive mucous production which exaggerate at night is a common symptom seen in acid reflux and as you already have acidity chances of acid reflux are more probable..
Due to acid reflux the acid regurgitates in throat more during lying down due to posture..
The medications that are given to you Lexapro and lafaxid are appropriate and you should continue taking..
Along with it take antacids like gelucil or digene..
Drink plenty of cold water..
Taking short frequent meals and avoiding heavy and spicy meals will relieve..
While sleeping keep your head slightly raised as compared to legs and prefer left lateral position..
