Suggest Remedy For Pain In Little Finger Area Of Left Hand

I am 78, 5' 10", 165 pounds and basically pretty healthy. Have arthritis in shoulders, worse in left shoulder. Worked on car yesterday and had occasional pain in left hand. Little finger area. Did digging with pick and shovel for flower bed today. Have pain radiating down left side of left arm in intermittant pulses and fairly constant on back side of hand above little finger. Pulse is roughly 70 per minute. Took two 81 aspirin hour and a half ago with no noticeable change. No other pains, no shortness of breath, not light headed. This is not letting me get much sleep.
