Suggest Remedy For Pain At Incision Site After Stroke

so my dad had a stroke 6 yrs ago affecting his left side and has a sharp pain shoot down from his neck to his left foot every once in awhile......is this normal after a stroke? he also has had carotid surgery on both sides of his neck since then for blockage.....which is what I thought may have caused pain, like at incision site...but he says this goes from neck down to foot masp

I don't find this related to the past history of stroke. I think this can be related to spinal cord issues. He may need to do a cervical spine x-ray. Also, physical therapy may be helpful.

Pain shooting from neck to foot could be due to nerve related disorder. Consult a neurologist for assessments and management.
