Suggest Remedy For Overactive Thyroid

i am 39 years old and have been on lithium for 23 years due to manic depression i am fit and well and recently been diagnosed with overactive thyroid due to the lithium nothing has been done about it yet because i need to see the consultant about my medication i am now displaying a few symptoms and wondering what will happen

Hi, dear
I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern.

You have hyperthyroidism. You need anti thyroid medicine.

You can take drugs like propylthiouracil or methimazole.

First go for T3, T4 and TSH level and take treatment accordingly.

These are prescription based medicine so consult your doctor and take treatment accordingly.
