Suggest Remedy For Lump On Left Ribcage

My 14 month old has a lump on her left ribcage, close to her sternum (but clearly on a rib). It's hard and immobile; it feels like it's part of her bone. She doesn't seem to have any pain when we feel it, and you can feel the skin sliding over top of it. I only noticed it a few days ago, but it appears to be staying the same size. Her behaviour hasn't changed recently; though she recently went through a huge growth spurt, and tends to be a bit more tired than she used to be. We have a regular check up with our family doctor in a few weeks, should I get it checked out in the meantime?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,Dear,
Thanks for the query to HCM. I studied your problem in depth and I understood your concerns.
Treatment -
In my opinion your daughter has a prominent normal costo-chondral joints close to sternum which would cover up in next few months or a year by the growth spurt breast development.Don't worry. Its normal and would vanish on its own,as explained above.
Show to ER surgeon if it grows and worries more.
So don't build up wrong concepts and create more psychic complications in you which would increase risks and costs to you, but just ask a query to HCM and be comfortable to resolve your health issues.
Welcome for any more query in this regard to HCM.
Write good resume and Click thanks if you feel satisfied with my advise.
Have a Good Day.
