Hi,

HSP (Henoch-Schönlein purpura) is a medical condition that can cause rashes, joint pain, and swelling. It is important to consult your son's doctor for proper diagnosis and treatment.

In the meantime, here are some remedies that may help relieve your son's discomfort:
* Cool compress: You can apply a cool compress or an ice pack wrapped in a towel to the affected area to relieve itching and burning.
* Oatmeal bath: Soaking in an oatmeal bath may help relieve itching and inflammation. You can add a cup of uncooked oatmeal to your son's bathwater and let him soak for 15-20 minutes.
* Calamine lotion: Applying calamine lotion to the affected area may help soothe the itching and burning.
* Avoid scratching: Encourage your son to avoid scratching the affected area to prevent further irritation and infection.
* Loose-fitting clothes: Dress your son in loose-fitting clothes to avoid rubbing and irritation of the affected area.

Keeping the affected area clean and dry is important to prevent infection. If your son's symptoms worsen or he develops a fever, seeks medical attention immediately.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
