You don't elucidate on whether he's had surgery of the aneurysm or endovascular treatment. If he's had a subarachnoid hemorrhage and the aneurism is treated, blood pressure may be intentionally kept high to keep open blood vessels which being irritated by the blood have a tendency to spasm and occlude. On the other hand if the aneurysm hasn't been possible to treat there's the risk of it rupturing which could bring a fatal hemorrhage. So it's a very delicate issue, there are many variables at hand. Even if things work out for the best, it will be a slow process so you should be patient.
