Suggest Remedy For Heavy Periods After Taking Plan B Pill

Hi, I took a Plan B pill. It was followed with normal period, and right after it ended i started another really heavy menstruation. The annotation says changes in menstruation is expected but i m concerned because it s extremely heavy. Should I worry?

Thanks for posting in HCM.
I understand your concern.
Changes in the menstruation could happen after taking any emergency contraceptive pill like Plan B.
What problems you are facing of heavy bleeding should ideally subside in 3 to 5 days and your next cycle should be normal.
However, if it continues, you need to consult Gynecologist and get examined to rule out dysfunctional uterine bleeding. In case it is present, it needs to be managed accordingly.
