Suggest Remedy For Eye Problem

I was in the yard working on Wednesday and a branch stuck the right side of my right eye. It got really red, I put drops in it and it burned. Figured I cut it but since it was not my cornea I just kept flushing it out with drops but now about 5mm of the white of my eye is drooping. Is this a problem for er or can it wait another 24-48 hours?
