Suggest Remedy For Continued Diarrhea With Flaky And Musky Liquid With No Help From Bismuth Subsalicylate
I have had diarrhea for 13 hours now. After 5 hours of having it I took bismuth subsalicylate (262 mg) and every two hours I take 2 tablets. However my stomach has had no relief what so ever and my diarrhea is flakey with a musky liquid. I go anywhere from 2-4 times an hour. what should I do?

Hello. Tahnsk for putting your query in HCM. I will suggest you to take adequate fluid andelectral powder to avoid fluid and electrolyte insufficiency. Get your stool examination and complete haemogram to seee whether there is any infection if yes then course of antibiotic will be required. Meanwhile take a course of probiotics and tablet lomotil.
