Suggest Remedy For Acne

I had a pimple on my hip. I popped it and it is now very red and sore. I have used hydrogen peroxide and acne cream but it isn t getting any better and is very painful. I think part of the pain is from chafing when I walk and even though it is covered with a band aid there is a lot of rubbing

thank you for query. it may be folliculitis.please use topical antibiotics like fucidin or silverex or Mupirocin daily till it subsides.You wear loose cotton clothes.do not sit for long time.see that there is no friction or irritation.You can use analgesics like brufen if needed. Consult doctor if does not subside as you may require oral antibiotics.else You can get back directly to me for any clarifications with the photos.Dr Bharatesh D Basti Dermatologist and Venereologist.
