I can understand your concern for acne all over the face after placing IUD Mirena.
It could be one of the important reasons to have IUD Mirena and therefore you can get more of pimples after that. I suggest you to meet your treating doctor and inform her regardfing this pimples problem after the IUD Mirena.
In my patients I suggest then to apply clindamycin gel locally at the affected areas of acne. I additionally prefer to give an antibiotic such as azithromycin for three times a week for 8 weeks.
Do not pinch, pop or squeeze any area on face and do not apply any creamy or oily stuff or any other cosmetics over face. Wash your scalp properly to avoid flaking of scalp as it can cause more pimples.
All the best.
