Suggest Remedies For Low Fever And Severe Cough With Mucus
MY HUSBAND HAD HIS LAST CISPLATIN 3 WEEKS AGO AND HE IS HAVING A LOW GRADE FEVER OF 100.2. HE ALSO HAD 35 RADIATION TREATMENTS TO THE VOCAL CORD AND HE IS COUGHING UP A LOT OF MUCUS CONTINUALLY DAY AND NIGHT AND HE CANNOT SLEEP. SHOULD I CALL THE DOCTOR IMMEDIATELY OR CAN I WAIT UNTIL TOMORROW WHEN THE VISITING NURSE COMES TO THE HOUSE?

Since your husband is on immunosuppressive therapy there are high chances of opportunistic infection. And lungs are one of the common sites for this. So any fever with cough production should be investigated if patient on immunosuppressive therapy. So get done chest x ray.
