Suggest Remedies For Loss Of Appetite, Sleep Apnea And Weight Gain

I am a 63 year old male, 5 11 , 225 pounds, who is experiencing loss of appetite but no weight loss. I also have possible sleep apnea as I snore and wake up with a dry mouth, and sometimes a morning headache. My blood pressure is good but high triglycerides, nonsmoker, vegetarian, do yoga three times a week and exercise, drink coffee, take no prescribed meds. I am wondering about the weak appetite, and more weight gain around stomach. I have no chills, fevers, throat swellings, or stomach pain. Thank you.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have problem of loss of appetite, sleep apnea and weight gain . Well i would suggest you to consult ENT specialist for proper evaluation of report ,without any delay because sleep apnea sometimes leads to heart attack . Loss of appetite or weight gain can also occur due to hypothyroidism . Doctor may recommend CPAP machine to correct the problem. I would suggest you to

- Along with CPAP machine your should do light exercises.
- Control your diet and lose some weight.
- Start do light exercises like yoga and meditation.
- Try on sleep on side .

Do not ignore this problem as sleeping apnea can lean to heart attack . Doctor may also refer you to endocrinologist fir thyroid problem .
