Suggest Remedies For Cough Due To Liquid Intake In Air Pipe
Hello - I laughed while having a drink last night and it went down the wrong pipe. I spit out some and it came out of my nose and really hurt in my chest for a while. But I also have a bad cough now; sounds like a cough that you have when you have bronchitis. Is there something that I should do or should I just wait it out?

Foreign body aspirations like fluids in your case can result in such presentation.You shoul dget them symptomatically treated.Antibiotics prophylaxis and a nebulization to keep the airways dilated. Get to a doctor if the symptoms persists for more than 5 days. Its cough and it will resolve.No worries and just treat the symptoms with over the counter meds.
