Suggest Preventive And Precautionary Measures After A Heart Attack
A cousin aged 36 recently had a heart attack. He will probably get stunts or angioplasty. Will he be okay? What care he will need to carry on his life? Will he be able to carry on his normal activities like he did before? Can you please suggest excercises which mighe help him?
After the stenting he will most probably fine within 2 to 3 weeks of complete bed rest.
Yes,he may start is normal activities after complete recovery and get thoroughly checked by cardiologist.
He will need to take some precautions:
1) Control of alcohol intake with complete avoidance of smoking and tobacco. 2) Good control of blood pressure if he is having high BP. 3) Try to loose weight (if obese) with mild to moderate exercises daily for half an hour. 4) Eat healthy diet like high protein,low carbohydrates and fats. 5) Good control of your stress level.
