Suggest Precautions That Needs To Be Taken Post Robotic Laproscopic Hysterectomy Surgery
I am 6 days post robotic laproscopic hysterectomy surgery, I am having issues, such as pain so severe I could pass out when having bowel movement. I have been taking MOM so the stool is soft. I feels like my insides are coming out of my vagina. I am also experiencing bladder leakage. I go frequently because it s hard to tell when I really have to go. I walk around the house slot cause sitting is painful and I get tired of just lying in bed. My appetite has decreased, even eating feels painful cause of the gloating. I have times where I can just pour down sweating and times where I am freezing really freezing...is all this normal or just I get checked earlier than my appointment?
The pain during bowel movement and bloating are expected after surgery. Continue the pain medications as prescribed. You can also continue stool softeners and drink plenty of water. However, given your urinary symptoms, I recommend following up with your doctor as soon as possible to get a urine analysis and culture done, to rule out urinary tract infection.
