Suggest Opinion About Having Precautionary Chemo
My mother had an operation of her right breast lump on an initial stage, the cyst with right breast has been removed. At the discharge, i have noticed that discharge slip indicates that my mother my has no cancer. After one month & week report of bypsy, doctor is suggesting that by precautionary measure she needs to have kemo. Please advise....

If there is no pathohistologic confirmation of cancerous lump than there is no need for any additional chemotherapy or radiotherapy.
