Suggest Medicines Without Any Side Effects For High Cholesterol

I hate taking meds that have all the side effects...30 yrs in the military and now everything is falling apart... Doc put me on Crestor, Lisinopril, Metformin, and Aspirn 81mg. I am 53 and fairly decent shape, 15 lbs over weight maybe. Have a non-stressful day job and coach 2 Youth Soccer teams - U17 and JV High School. Constantly moving. Workout 3 times per week - weights, walk, bike, etc. Just recently injured shoulder, MRI, X-rays pending full diagnosis - possible acromioclavical injury. When I took the meds listed above, I felt lethargic, increased muscle pain, brownish tint urine and lingering headache, so I Stopped all meds excluding aspirin. Emailed doc but no reply yet. Is anything else aside from the list above than can help lower cholesterol. An do I really need to take Lisinopril and Metformin? 53 Hispanic active male.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Thankyou for the Question..
Brief...Complete history missing , you need to get keep eye on blood pressure, blood sugar level and get done kidney profile .

Detail...Sir first of all I need to know that why you were given lisinopril, metformin and aspirin..Do you have diabetes or hypertention problem..if yes you have to continue antihypertensive and blood sugar lowering tabletes. As these two diseases can effect other organs of body brain (stroke) , kidney, heart and so on..
you are having brown tinge in urine, I Doubt haematuria ..to rule out that you need to get kidney profie and urine test done .
If you are having problems because of these drugs , these can be changed with other medicines with same function. These tabletes can only be changed if the patient is thoroughly evaluated and with complete history..
Best if Health
