Your wife was either suffering from HYPO-thyroidism ( not HYPERthyroidisn) or she was not on thyroxine but something else= it looks she was suffering from hypothyroidism. A patient should not stop such a high dose schedule. Anyway - she has discontinued Thyroxin for 1 month- but is vomiting since 2 and half months. Is She pregnant ????? If she is not pregnant she has to undergo a proper clinical proper clinical examination to be done by a Doctor who can catch many of the problems on your proper history and physical examination and can then guide for further investigations and treatment. She needs an opinion of a Gastroenterologist and upper GI endoscopy, ultrasonography and CT scan of the abdomen to rule out any pathology. Sometimes a CT of the brain too is important. You have to remember one thing - there is something called psychogenic vomiting and is considered if all the tests are negative.
