Suggest Medication For Pain In Heels

Hello. I have haglunds deformity on both of my heels and they are very painful. My current doctor was prescribing me norco 5/325 for the past 6 months, its not easing the pain like it was before. Should i ask for something stronger or go to a new doctor for a 2nd opinion and new pain meds? Thanks for your time.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi and thanks for this query.

I am so sorry to hear about this poorly controlled pain. Please, communicate with your doctor and let hi know the drugs are no longer as effective as before. This would prompt evaluation of the treatment and make changes accordingly. Switching to another doctor without talking it over with the current doctor would not be helpful for several reasons.

I wish you well and hope this helps.
