Suggest Medication For Cough For 3 Month Old

My three month old baby has been coughing the past four days now. This morning she woke up and I noticed she had lost her voice (I know she can't talk but you can tell a difference in her crying). She just currently started wheezing. What could she have and should I take her into the emergency department?

Hi,
Thank you for asking question on health care magic.
Your history suggests that it may be a case of bronchiolitis.
It is a viral infection and once there is wheezing better take her to ER for proper treatment.
It should be differentiated from Asthma specially if there is family history and recurrent attacks.
Hope this answer will serve your purpose
Please feel free to ask any more queries if required
Take care
