Monday, the inside of my nose felt like I was developing a pimple. On Tuesday, it felt the same until the evening, the left side of my nose swelled up on the inside and outside as well as turning bright red on the left side of my nose. It didn't cross the midline. I saw nurse practitioner, gave me RX for augmentin. Also, the bridge of my nose swelled and on the left side of face there was swelling. I have been using warm compression packs on nose. No fistula inside or outside. Although the redness is crossing the midline of my nose to the right side. When I bend forward, my nose throbs. With the swelling of the nose, my cheek and upper lip on left side feels numbness. The NP said no cut scrape of injury to the inside of my nostril. Any suggestions?
