Suggest Foods During Typhoid Infection
Hello doctor.I am Aravind.Last thursday(9-9-2010) i got fever with 103 F .Yesterday i had blood test due to fever and headache continue and Doctor confirmed that its Typhoid . What the food type can i have . Currently i am having idli and oats and bread . Is it good ? . My Widal Test Report : S . Typhi "o" : positive 1:200S. Typhi 'H' : Positive 1:100s.paratypi "AH" :negative 1:25s.paratyphi "BH" :negative 1:25

I really appreciate your concern, if this is the confirmed typhoid fever then patient can have any light diet, it should not be spicy, oily, fired, else all the light diet can be taken which is easy to digest liquid diet would be more preferable, hope this information helps, take care and have a nice day.
