Suggest Diet To Lower BP In Pregnancy

Hi,



I am five months pregnant and yesterday my BP was 150/100. My doc has suggested ecospeorin 75 one tab everyday. I wanted to know what are the food which can reduce my pressure or what food should I avoids other than salt to keep my pressure stable?

I have gone through your question and I understood your problem.
In pregnancy with high blood pressure you shud avoid salt intake which you are already doin. Eating a calcium rich diet may be able to help reduce the risk of developing preeclampsia during pregnancy. Good sources of calcium include cheese, milk, yogurt, kale, Chinese cabbage, broccoli and foods fortified with calcium such as fruit juice and cereal. Eating foods high in vitamin C and E may also help prevent preeclampsia. These foods include cantaloupe, kiwi, whole grains, cabbage, egg yolks, seeds, sardines, tomatoes and citrus fruits.I hope this will be helpful for you.All the best for your pregnancy.
