Is High Bp Normal During Pregnancy?

My wife is 36th Week Pregnant, till 34th week her BP was normal 120. yesterday we have tested her BP, it reached to 150. is it risky? please help us what the procedures we can do it to reduce her BP? is this high BP affects my baby and wife? please help us

Welcome to HCM
I understand your concerns.Only one reading of 150 doesn't tell us that your wife is suffering from pregnancy induced hypertension.

I would suggest you to take serial readings of BP-in the morning and evening.

Also ask your wife to make a note of DFMC-Daily fetal movement count.

Follow salt restricted diet.
There is no harm as such to your baby.

If she develops symptoms like blurring of vision,headache,haematuria,consult your gynecologist immediately.
