Suggest Diet For A Patient With High Cholesterol Level

Dear DOctor,
My husband is 45 yrs old. He has high cholesterol, high blood pressure and high uric acid. He works in the university and leads a hectic lifestyle. He smokes heavily. He's been suffering from severe headache lately. So, what foods would you recommend for his meals? Thank you very much.

Food is best guided by dietician. In principle light , low fat, low cab food with high roughage diet is recommended.

I can say that some herbal medicines must be started to support the existing treatment and prevention of upcoming complications.

Primarily lesser smoking, balancing Pitta humor vitiation, meditation, deep breathing, fresh air walks in a specific sequence should be adopted.

This can be done through Ayurveda and not only through diet plans.

If you agree to discuss further, pl consult through direct premium question.

In any case, at this age, proper decision should be taken to prevent further complications.
