Suggest Cause And Medications For Fluttering In Chest

Yes thank you...almost 2 years ago in Iraq I had pressure in my chest area...real heavy for a couple days after a pretty bad attack on our camp....I figured this was from stress ...but ever since then every couple of weeks I had fluttering in my chest area....what could this be...? thanks

Hello,

Likely this is happening due to anxiety, however possibility of cardiac arrhythmia like atrial fibrillation should be ruled out with further investigation. So you should try to obtain ECG during fluttering episodes. And if ECG is not informative then you ll need Holter monitoring or you may wear mobile rhythm monitor to know the possible cause.
