Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query your son have acne on face which occur because skin has increased sensitivity of getting pigmented and it leads to post inflammation hyper-pigmentation and it is very common in teen age group. He is taking so much of medication and is not getting benefitted which is something you should get it examined and consult dermatologist for proper examination and treatment . Doctor may prescribe antibiotics like minocyclin, steroid ointment and may recommend chemical peeling for marks. You should apply MELALITE XL cream which is combination of hydroquinone + Tretinoin + steroid and apply it at night time. Drink plenty of water and give diet rich in multivitamins.

Hope your concern has been resolved.
