Suggest Best Possible Treatments For Anxiety And Panic Attacks

Hey Dr, I ve been taking Lexapro and Lorazepam the past couple of months for my anxiety and panic attacks, and while it has greatly diminished my panic attacks and somewhat improved my anxiety levels, I still notice that I deal with the same fidgety/involuntary movements that I dealt with prior to being prescribed these medications. My physiatrist said that we should be able to find out if this fidgeting was from the anxiety or something else after being on these for the past couple of months, and this is really the only aspect that I ve been disappointed with. I was just curious if you thought this would begin to diminish over time as I continue to take these medications or if I should look into something else. Thank you for your time.

Hi
Thanks for using healthcare magic

Involuntary movement and fidgety is common in anxiety and usually improve with taking medication, but sometime it also happen due to underline neurological disorder. If you are not getting sufficient improvement, then there is no harm in getting opinion from neurologist.

Thanks
