Suggest Ayuervedic Medication For Pemphigus Vulgaris

Hi,

One of my friend suffering from pemphigus vulgaris. Is it possible to treat this disease with ayurvedic therapy? What is the percentage for recovery and where are those hospitals located?

1. Since it is an autoimmune condition causing blistering on skin and mucous membrane, thus treatment of choice is/are steroids,but to achieve a response it has to be taken in proper dose while also considering the adverse effects with regular follow up.

2. it is important to see a qualified dermatologist, while Ayurveda drugs can be started as adjuvant to steroids to minimize the side effects and help increasing Immunity by use of Rasayana Drugs [Immunomodulators]

3. regarding recovery: a study concluded that "Remissions were found to be much more common" thus one cannot say how much percentage/chances are there. you may consult a Qualified Allopathy/Ayurveda Physician for hospitals in and around your locality.
