Suggest Any Other Drug Instead Of Invega Sustenna Injections

Hello I received invega sustenna injections every month but most of the time I still hear voices. I was told by my doctor I can take up to two Seroquel on hard days. I take the injections because I m not very good with remembering to take the pills. Is there another drug that would work better for me, maybe another injection?

Psychiatrist 's  Response
Hi
Thanks for using healthcare magic

You can try long acting injection of risperidone. It is very effective and has good response as compared to invega. It has few side effects like chances of dystonia or weight gain etc, but this things you can control by exercise and central anticholinergic drugs. Rest, you can discuss with your psychiatrist. In case, you need further help, you can ask.

Thanks
