Suggest Alternative To Electrol To Prevent Dehydration Without Increasing Sugar Levels

my dad was diagnosed for bacterial meningitis. Had been in hospital for a week . was administered ceftrizone sulbactum fore 7 days. he is out of it. but he is very week. his sodium levels were altered. sugar was under control. since hes been having electrol to boost his energy there is an increase in blood sugar. do i still continue with electrol or shall i give salted butter milk. do advise

you can go for butter milk with salt
i don't think electrolyte balances still stay for such a lang time
if still there is electrolyte imbalance
get assessed for it
