Suggest alternate medicine for Azithromycin

Hello Dr., my daughter is 2.5 yrs old & got a very bad cough.Her Pediatric told she also hs mucous congestion in her lungs.hs prescribed Azithromycine,Omnacortil,cough syrup &montelukast sodium& levocetirizine hydrochloride tabs.But I cant get her to tk the azithromycine as its very bitter.what to do?

Hallo . Thank you for asking this question . Azithromycine is an antibiotic . Your doctor advice according to her symptoms . You can change to Amoxicillin-clavulanic acid preparation but with your doctor's consent . Hope I have answered your query . For further questions please contact .
