Suggest A Remedy For Weakness After Cervical Laminectomy

I am in clinical for nursing, I have a patient that is in for status post shunt secondary to helminth invasion cerebral and spinal cord invasion. He had a cervical laminectomy as well. I am during a process paper and need several interventions. He appears well but is getting therapy for his resulting weakness

However I am afraid more information is needed. It is unclear what MRI reports state regarding brain and spinal cord damage due to the infection. If there is permanent damage to the brain or spine then weakness may be an expected consequence of that, for which I am afraid not much can be done apart from physical therapy. So please consult MRI reports and feel free to upload them here so that we can discuss whether that is the cause and if anything else can be done.
