Do I Need To Have MRI To Confirm Arachnoiditis ?

Can a gp diagnose arachnoidits, or do I have to have an mri to confirm? age 55, cervical laminectomy operation left me with burning constant nerve pain , weakness in arm, have IBS and Fibromyalgia .

You have to confirm the diagnosis of Arachnoiditis by MRI.
Because it will decide the line of treatment.
for your cervical problem you have to take certain medicines especially neurotropic vitamins which will help you in releiving your problem.
