Suffering Hyperthyroidism Due To Grave's, On Thyroxidine. Feeling Weak, Dizzy. What Is Happening ?
i need help with my thyroid medications from an endocronologist, i had a complete thyroid surgery in india Apollo hospitals in 2011 , had been suffering with Hyperthyroidism due to Graves disease undetected for more than four years before travelling to india. the condition affected my fertility , have been married for 8yrs . but got pregnant after the sugery through IVF but had unexplained miscarriage of Twins at 16 wks May, 2012 . i have undegone another round of IVF and just tested positive this morning , i am currently on 100mcg of thyroidixine but have been feeling very weak and dizzy , so i did thyriod function test the result showns a high TSH 5.56miu/l suggesting subclinical hypothyroidism although i was euthyroid before i commenced the IVF and it's difficult to contact my doctor in India please i don't want any thing to happen to me and the baby i am ready to pay for your services my email is YYYY@YYYY thank you

I would suggest you consult your endocrinologist once again. Control your serum thyroid hormone levels (T3, T4, TSH). This shall help to determine if the current treatment is appropriate or not. Based on these findings, specific modifications could then be made. If ok, other causes of weakness like infections and other metabolic diseases shall be investigated based on the results of these initial findings.
