Suffering From Severe Stomach Pain

I am having severe stomach pain for several years now and have had all tests performed such as endoscopy, colonoscopy, ct scan and MRI. All tests came back normal except endoscopy and was told I had H. Pylori Bact. Was given meds and was cleared up. I have lost over 50 lbs and right now the pain in my stomach is so severe. I ve been to ER in past yet still tests show up negative. What can I do and where can I go? I ve been extremely fatigued and been in bed all day and nothing is helping me w/the severe pain.

Hi,

Since your all the investigation are within normal limits and you also have cleared the H pylori infection. I would advise you for a battery of investigation to rule out liver, pancreas and gallbladder disease like liver function test, serum amylase and lipase and an ultrasound or ERCP/MRCP after discussing with your doctor about which your doctor knows.

Meanwhile you can take antiacidity medicine like pantoprazole or ranitidine group of drugs with antacids or sucralfate syrup. Have lots of fluids and maintain good hydration. You should take lots of fresh fruits and vegetables. You should avoid fatty fried spicy and junk food and don't skip meal.

Hope this answers your question. Please feel free to ask for follow up question and I will gladly answer you.

Best wishes,
Dr. B R Hudda
