There are no specific guidelines that define premature ejaculation. It is a common problem. It may occur due to performance anxiety, or it may also occur if individual have sexual intercourse after a long time. You masturbate only once or twice a months and this may be a reason for premature ejaculation. If you are not involved in regular sexual activity then this may be a reason for premature ejaculation. To avoid this one thing that can be done is to divert the attention while having intercourse. Second option is medicines. A lot of medicines of SSRI group like Paroxetine etc have side effect of delayed ejaculation and this may be utilized as therapeutic effect for premature ejaculation.
Hope it helps you, thanks
