Suffering From Gangrene In The Foot. Treated By A Wound Specialist, Cannot Have Surgery. Prognosis?
My mother has gangrene in her foot and is being treated,but is not healthily enough to have surgery. I asked what happens next? She was being treated by a wound specialist in for the past month and has gotten worst. She was sent home from XXXXX Hospital and the attending Physican told us that it just a matter of time and her age is 87.

unfortunately this is very serious condition and gangrene will leada to sepsis and death for sure.it is usually rapid and progress to death in several weeks.however, he should be treated by antibiotics and other palliative treatments
