General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi, thanks for using healthcare magic

In some persons, the fever that can be found with typhoid fever can persist for weeks. In some cases the fever can persist for up to 3 weeks and start to decrease by week 4.

The antibiotic she is using taxim-o is recommended and should work for her. In some cases where the person is very ill and no responding to the antibiotic , another antibiotic is given.

If you are concerned you may want to take her to her doctor for reassessment.

I hope this helps
