Suffering From Jaundice With Typhoid. Bilirubin Level Is 7.

Hi.. My sister is suffering from Jaundice and Typhoid from the past 7 days. The Biluribin levels are shown as 7.0 during the blood test . Temperature increases during the night times.

teenday, plain mutton soup and saboodanah in water base not milk. yogurt w/o sugar with salt only..regards, ain

She needs to be investigated for the cause of Jaundice. It can be hepatits A, or B or C. this can be identified by liver function tests and serological tests. You local doctor will help you out. Till that time, she can be put on safer hepatoprotective medicines. ( Liv 52 is one such formula)>
